A friend told us ... there is a place in Guastalla to try where you can find number one aperitifs ... and he was right. Very courteous and approachable staff in a place you don't expect... very particular, somewhere between rustic and informal. Commendable aperitifs and quality products.. price ok.. Thanks guys we will be back.. I don't give 5 stars for a reason... the wine is either good or not... it doesn't suit tastes... but I really appreciated the change of glass with a good wine.. Very nice place and excellent quality. Very valid in summer and also in winter. Exceptional cured meats and cheeses. Refined and truly quality wines. Staff present, friendly and competent. Quiet place to disconnect and relax after a working day. Absolutely recommended and to recommend to your friends. Try it and you will surely be able to confirm everything. Guaranteed !
I would have given 4 stars for the cocktails but I also had dinner and the quality of what I ate was low (sandwiches and croutons). Large portions, high prices, low quality. The thing that pissed me off the most was the service, which was completely absent. More than half an hour waiting for a dish and the place was empty. In conclusion, if you just want to have an aperitif, it's ok but I totally reject it for dinner. We're not quite there.
The place is a little hidden but it's easy to find. This wine shop is small, not with many seats, but well looked after. The wine list is quite extensive and of a certain level. The same cannot be said about the list of dishes. Of course you don't expect the list like a restaurant, but at least a few more dishes you do. The dishes I ate were ok, as was the table service. The quality/price ratio for a dinner here is not the best, but it's ok. Having said that, I recommend this place for anyone who wants to have an excellent aperitif, I certainly don't recommend it as a pure restaurant.
In the winter season, few tables inside, a little narrow. Absolutely professional and very polite service, from the small kitchen come imaginative and well-plated proposals, which, in my opinion, do not excel, but are good. My Negroni was excellent, the wine and gin list was interesting. Very correct prices, I will return in spring to try the outdoor space.
I've been there for drinks after dinner a couple of times.
The menu has an excellent assortment of drinks and they are all made with care and precision.
The place is clean and tidy, the staff are courteous and the prices are average compared to similar places.
Overall I would therefore say a great place.
